Englewood Lemon Bay Sunrise Rotary Club in partnership with Sarasota County, Target and the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Department had its annual “Heroes’ & Helpers – Shop with a Cop” event at the Target in Venice, on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 6:45 a.m. More than 30 children enjoyed a Christmas shopping spree and 20 families were given a Christmas Dinner to take home and enjoy!  Englewood Lemon Bay Sunrise provided $2500 and target provided $2000 plus an additional 10% on the gift cards for a combined $4500+ event!  Lemon Bay Sunrise...

Rotary District 6960 presents $40,000 to All Faiths Food Bank

Rotary District 6960 is pleased to present a check for $40,000 to the All Faiths Food Bank to help with the organization’s expansion. The money will be used to purchase a new refrigerated box truck that will allow the food bank to expand their services in the communities that they currently serve and expand their reach to additional communities. Pine Manor Improvement Association receives grant

The Rotary Club of Fort Myers–Sunrise announced a $23,000 grant to the Pine Manor Improvement Association for the development of an edible urban forest. The project is an extension of the Pine Manor Community Garden.
